These terms govern your use of salinerohotels.com (the "site"), operated by Carina Limited of Moshi, Tanzania ("Salinero Hotels", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. They sit alongside our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

Plain-English summary. This website is for information and for sending us a reservation enquiry. Sending an enquiry doesn't create a confirmed booking — we reply with availability and rates first, and a booking only exists once we've confirmed it in writing. Our words and images are ours; please don't copy them. We can't promise the site is error-free, and we're not liable for third-party sites we link to.

1. Using the site

You may browse the site and submit genuine enquiries for your own travel plans. You agree not to misuse it — for example, to submit false or automated enquiries, to attempt to breach its security or rate limits, to scrape or republish its content at scale, or to use it for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access if the site is misused.

2. Enquiries, availability and confirmation

The reservation form sends us an enquiry, not a confirmed reservation. When you submit one:

Please give accurate details (names, dates, contact information). We are not responsible for a booking we cannot fulfil because the information provided was wrong or incomplete.

3. Rates, taxes and payment

Rates are provided on request and quoted to you directly; the site does not display prices. Quoted rates are valid only for the dates, occupancy and period stated in our reply, and may be subject to applicable taxes and levies. Accepted payment methods, deposit terms and any cancellation or amendment conditions are set out in the confirmation we send for your specific booking, and those booking terms govern the stay itself.

4. Descriptions, photography and availability of facilities

We work hard to describe our lodges, rooms, facilities and experiences accurately. Even so, descriptions and photographs are for general guidance: natural features, wildlife sightings, seasonal conditions, and third-party activities (game drives, balloon safaris, climbs, transfers) depend on factors outside our control and are never guaranteed. Individual facilities may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or operational reasons. Wildlife is wild — we can promise the setting, not the animals.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the site — text, photography, graphics, the Salinero name and logo, and the overall design — is owned by Carina Limited or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning (including our downloadable itinerary). You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell, or use our content or brand without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party links and services

The site links to and works with third parties — for example Tripadvisor (our rating badge), our email provider, WhatsApp, and social platforms. We don't control those services and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

7. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take care to keep it accurate and running, we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that every detail is complete and current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of this kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salinero Hotels and Carina Limited are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site (for example, loss caused by reliance on site content or by the site being unavailable). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your rights under the separate booking terms that apply once a reservation is confirmed.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is explained in the Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the site. This does not remove any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
